Our work spans short-form digital content to feature-length documentaries. We stay light on gear, nimble in the field, and deliberate in the edit. Every frame, every shot, every sound exists to draw people closer to the world outside and to the people living boldly within it.
Somewhere Studios was founded by Dean and Quinn, two curious and adventurous creatives who have always spent as much time outside as possible. Their love for nature led to a life-changing hike in Joshua Tree, where they realized they wanted to spend their days exploring new places and experiencing the outdoors fully.
With backgrounds in design, filmmaking, and photography, they saw a way to merge what they love with what they’re good at. They realized they could tell stories about people connecting with nature in their own way. Somewhere Studios grew from that epiphany: a desire to spend life outside while capturing the beauty, challenge, and transformation that nature inspires in people.
